RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

SILTSACK IS AN EROSION CONTROL DEVICE USED TO PREVENT SEDIMENT FROM ENTERING YOUR DRAINAGE SYSTEM. IT MUST BE MAINTAINED ON A REGULAR BASIS TO SERVE YOU PROPERLY.

SILTSACKS CAN BE USED AS A SECONDARY OR PRIMARY SEDIMENT CONTROL DEVICE. INSPECITION OF ITS COLLECTED SEDIMENT LEVEL IS IMPORTANT TO PREVENT PONDING OVE R THE STORM INLET.

 

WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOIWNG MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE:

**EACH SILTSACK SHOULD BE INSPECTED AFTER EVERY MAJOR RAIN EVENT.

**IF THERE HAVE BEEN NO MAJOR RAIN EVENTS, SILTSACKS SHOULD BE INSPECTED EVERY 2-3 WEEKS.

**THE SILTSACK SHOULD NOT EVER BE OVER HALF FULL OF SEDIMENT.
